Sanchez and his partner Ruiz assisted Mike and Marcus in taking down the drug kingpin Fouchet who stole $100 million worth of heroin.
Bad Boys II[]
Eight years after taking down Fouchet, Sanchez and Ruiz had retired from the Miami PD. In their place were new Detectives Marco Vargas and Mateo Reyes of the TNT unit which was formed after Mike and Marcus were promoted to their Lieutenant rank.
Bad Boys: Ride or Die[]
Sanchez and Ruiz were mentioned through a video message from Captain Howard. It is revealed that 9 years ago, they were pulled out of retirement by Howard to work the drug cartel case, but they were killed in a car crash a week later, likely orchestrated by the cartel.
