LA's Finest is the spin-off series of the Bad Boys franchise. The show is the first premium content show made for the cable provider and the debut of its Spectrum Originals banner of exclusive programming.
The series premiered on Spectrum on May 13, 2019 and in June 2019, the series was renewed for a second season, which is set to premiere on September 9, 2020.
Synopsis[]
The one-hour series follows Sydney Burnett, who was last seen in Miami taking down a drug cartel. Since then, the free-spirited DEA agent seemingly left her complicated past behind and has a fresh start in her new job as an LAPD detective
Syd is paired with a new partner, Nancy McKenna, a working mom with an equally complex history who can't help but look at Syd's freedom with envy. The vastly different lifestyles force Syd to confront how her unapologetic lifestyle may be masking a greater personal secret.
Taking on the most dangerous criminals in Los Angeles while skirting the rules and speed limits, Syd and Nancy become a force to be reckoned with—on the streets and in each other's lives.
