- Gabrielle Union as Special Agent/Detective Lieutenant Sydney "Syd" Burnett, an ex-DEA agent transferred to LAPD. She is the sister of Marcus Burnett from the Bad Boys movies.
- Jessica Alba as Nancy McKenna, a working stepmother and secret former career criminal, who is Syd's new partner and friend in the LAPD.
